SAN ANTONIO (January 31, 2024) – AmeriVet Veterinary Partners has been named a 2023 Business of the Year by San Antonio Business Journal. This is the third time the company has received this honor. The recognition was announced at San Antonio Business Journal’s gala event and awards ceremony on January 25, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at the Canyon Springs Golf Club.

The evening was a culmination of hard work, dedication, and innovation, as AmeriVet Veterinary Partners was recognized for its outstanding contributions to the veterinary industry and the broader community. AmeriVet faced challenges last year that included economic and operational factors. “Inflationary pressures in the cost of goods and labor was and continues to be a big hurdle,” said Thomas Thill, AmeriVet CEO. To overcome the challenges, AmeriVet worked to provide operational support and resources to its vet partners to help pet owners maintain access to quality pet care.

Over the last year, AmeriVet was able to provide care to over 2 million pets. It was able to expand its educational initiatives, including scholarships and mentorship programs. It also points to achieving a key milestone: providing work and career paths for over 3,000 employees across the country.

Innovations launched in 2023 include its StandOut resource, the goal of which is to foster an environment among its employees of discovering team effectiveness and improving critical services.
